Brenna Foos

I have always been passionate about helping others. In high school I did an internship at a crisis shelter and knew at that point that I would end up in a career helping others. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2010 and went on to obtain my Masters Degree in Social Work in 2012, both from the University of Denver.

From there, I worked at Children's Hospital Colorado from 2010 through 2014 in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. While there, I really enjoyed working with children, adolescents and families while also working alongside the incredible team of doctors, nurses, psychiatrists and social workers. After my time at Children's Hospital Colorado, I left to pursue a different passion of mine, adoption.

In 2013, I began working at an adoption agency where I gained a great deal of experience working with birth parents and adoptees, but I primarily walked alongside adoptive families through their time with the adoption agency. Adoption can often feel like a very small world, yet everyone seems to have a connection to it. I have a deep passion for adoption and understand the unique relationships that are created through the adoption process. I no longer work at an adoption agency, but still contract with the adoption agency I worked for to complete home studies for prospective adoptive families as this is something that fuels my heart.

Whatever services you are seeking, together, you and I will lean into the sharp corners of life and explore your goals and the challenges you are facing. However you look at it, you are not alone. I am available to you to listen, explore feelings around difficult topics, and empower you in knowing your own strength and resilience. Call me to schedule a free phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit for one another.

Outside of work:

As a Colorado native, I can never get enough of what Colorado has to offer. The seasons are beautiful and the sun shines far more than it doesn't. Therefore, in my free time, I love to explore Colorado with my husband and 2 young children. Whether we are playing outside in our backyard, camping, searching for bugs, or taking road trips, there are endless explorations to be had.

I have a quirky personality and love to laugh often. I enjoy good sushi, I watch professional sumo-wrestling with my family, and even though I am many miles away, I will always feel like Ireland is my second home.
